Daniel Scott Buck works as an investigator at a public defender's office in Portland, Oregon. His debut novel, The Greatest Show on Earth, was picked as Novel of the Year 2006 by 3:AM Magazine, and was also a finalist for the Needle Award. His second novel, Mechanical Thinking, is near completion.
